In a distressing case of animal cruelty, a mistreated puppy was recently discovered with a hairband tightly knotted over her muzzle. The shocking condition of the puppy led to her being surrendered to a local no-kill animal shelter.
The hairband was tightly wrapped around the puppy’s muzzle, so much so that it had cut into her skin, causing significant swelling and almost tripling the size of her little face. The injury was so severe that it went down to the bone, resulting in immense suffering for the helpless pup.
Tiffany, as she was later named, exhibited remarkable resilience in the face of this cruelty. She received emergency care from a dedicated rescue team, and she spent the night under the watchful eyes of a medical professional.
Thanks to the diligent care and attention she received, Tiffany is now on the path to recovery. A recent update on her condition reveals that she is healing nicely, eating and drinking as she should. She is currently under the care of the kind-hearted Good Samaritan who found her in her distressed state.
Tiffany’s swelling has significantly decreased, and her facial wound has been skillfully sewn up, allowing her to heal properly.
Cincinnati Animal CARE is actively seeking information about Tiffany and the person responsible for her abuse. In a bid to bring the perpetrator to justice, PETA has offered a reward for anyone who can provide information leading to an arrest in this case of cruelty.
